The Hanbok is a traditional Korean ceremonial attire rental store with majority wedding and baby’s first birthday clients.
I am currently focusing on Pyebaeks (traditional bowing ceremony) and have continued working freelance throughout my full-time jobs.

Pyebaek
-
on-site managing & emcee (bilingual)
-
organizing & communicating via phone or email
Pyebaek originated as a ceremony for the bride to pay her respects to the groom’s family members as she is formally accepted into the family. Today, both sides of the family are invited to participate.
My purpose as an emcee is to preserve the deep meaning behind the tradition while also incorporating modern humor for entertainment.

This year, I had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be part of the backstage crew for The Hanbok at NYFW. An experience that allowed me to witness firsthand the artistry (and chaos!) that goes into pulling off a successful runway show. I am deeply grateful to have collaborated with such a talented team. This will undoubtedly remain one of the most memorable days of my life!
