Marketers of Baruch is an organization run by ambitious students who strive to dive deeper into the field of marketing through a blend of professional and social events.
VP of Networking (2020-21): Organized and hosted a total of 12 professional events and 1 social event.
Recruitment Chair (2021-22): I continued to stay active as the Recruitment Chair; brainstorming recruitment projects and helping new members get accustomed.

Event briefs were emailed to the panelists between a week to 3 days prior to the event.
The briefs served the purpose of not only informing the professionals of the panel schedule, but also a soft reminder.

during events...
I always began by introducing the topic of the day, any relevant case studies or news, and an overview of the company the professional is representing. This allowed the members to be fully educated on the focus of the discussion and have questions prepared to ask the panelist.
Baruch College is a very diverse school and I wanted to highlight the importance of it not only in an education setting, but also in the workforce. ​

social event
This was the only social event that I hosted and while it had the lowest attendance, it allowed a level of intimacy that made it one of my favorite events. This event took place at the height of the pandemic when everyone was in lockdown.
A time when everyone was lonely.
Yet, I rarely saw anyone share their struggles.
In a time where everyone was struggling.
So I wanted to provide a space where everyone could stop and take a breath.
To learn about different coping mechanisms with any difficulties the students might be facing, and take some time for self-care.
